Information We Receive
Public pages can be viewed without an account. If you use the dashboard, Google Firebase Authentication provides your Google account identifier, email address, display name, and sign-in state. Approved dashboard profiles are stored in Firestore with role, access status, and account timestamps.
If you submit public feedback, we receive the feedback type, title, details, website honeypot value, and any reply email you choose to provide. Direct email contact is handled by your email provider.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide dashboard access, manage team roles, publish and moderate team content, respond to feedback, maintain security, prevent abuse, and operate the website. Feedback may be forwarded to a private GitHub repository as an issue for the team to review.
Storage And Service Providers
Dashboard profiles, team operations data, content records, audit records, and uploaded media metadata are processed through Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Firebase Storage. Uploaded images may be resized into optimized and thumbnail versions. GitHub processes submitted public feedback, and YouTube may provide video content and thumbnails.
Analytics, Cookies, And Local Storage
Some public pages use Google Analytics or Google tagging to help understand general site usage. These services may use cookies or similar technologies according to Google’s policies. Firebase Authentication may persist your dashboard sign-in in your browser when you choose to use the dashboard. The site may also use browser storage for local-only preferences or access state.
Security And Retention
Protected API requests use Firebase ID tokens and server-side authorization. We use reasonable measures for a small team website, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain account, audit, content, and feedback records for as long as reasonably needed for team operations, safety, moderation, and legal obligations.
Children And Families
This is a student robotics team website. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through public forms beyond what is necessary for a submitted message or feedback report. Parents or guardians can contact us with questions about information connected to a child.
Your Choices
You may choose not to use the dashboard, cookies, analytics-supported pages, or feedback form. You can contact us to ask about personal information associated with a submission or account. We may need to verify the request before responding.
Third-Party Links
Links to Google, YouTube, GitHub, Firebase, and other services are governed by those providers’ own privacy policies. We do not control how external services process information after you leave this site.
